风景与旅游规划中心是广东省科学院广州地理研究所的重要科研业务部门，是首批获得国家旅游局颁布的旅游规划设计资质乙级单位之一，被广东省旅游局授予为“广东旅游增光”单位。我中心有良好的学科梯队，主持了20多项旅游规划及策划、研究项目，发表了专著10本，论文40多篇，对广东省旅游发展的历史有长期的跟踪研究，对区域旅游有深刻的认识。
中国旅游景区协会是由全国旅游景区行业和与景区相关企事业单位在平等自愿基础上组成的全国旅游景区行业协会，具有独立的社团法人资格。协会接受国家旅游局的领导、民政部的业务指导和监督管理。
