九州工业大学横野照尚教授等研发出能在常温常压下利用太阳光使水和氧气高效生成过氧化氢(H2O2)的光催化剂。由于H2O2能作为下一代燃料电池的燃料且便于运输,有望取代氢气成为新的能源载体,所以该研究备受关注。
意大利都灵理工大学和以色列耶路撒冷希伯来大学的科学家采用数字光处理(DLP)3D打印技术,用水凝胶打印出复杂的形状,而且这些结构在损坏时可自我修复,该成果近期发表在《自然·通讯》上。
东京大学铃木穰教授等开发了仅用少量DNA即可对长链DNA甲基化进行解析的方法。采用该方法仅需10纳克左右DNA(约相当于传统方式的百分之一)便能对与疾病、发育或分化相关的甲基化状况进行分析。该成果将使得基于少量临床样本或少数几个细胞的医学分析成为可能,有望对提升疾病治疗水平,推动细胞分化研究进步作出贡献。
